No kids at home, but two adults both trying to adjust to working from home can be a challenge. My staff is well equipped to work from home, but maintaining a collaborative and supportive workplace culture in this environment seems like a huge challenge. This week we’ve done silly icebreaker-type questions on Slack and an all-staff virtual lunch. I’d love to hear other ideas.

My cats are elated that I’m home so much. Makes it easier. They are all so cute. I’ve seen a lot of places reaching out, asking if people who are socially distancing would consider fostering a pet during that time. I have to say, that’s a fantastic way to help the little animal and to keep quarantined people from getting cabin fever.

Our cat has gotten more affectionate in this time! It’s great to see. And I wish we’d gotten a dog before we started self-quarantining…
